These illustrations were made to celebrate the vibrant Indian Postbox for my postcard brand, Ink Kuppi, based on scenes from everyday life.
Postcard 1 – Street Art Postbox
I was inspired by the vibrant street art of my city, often political in nature and hand painted with bold lettering. A postbox sitting on one such street caught my eye.
Postcard 2 – Street Vendor Postbox
Inspired by a real street vendor I saw selling his wares in my city around a postbox on the street. I wanted to show the variety of items and colourful impression I had on the street that day.
Postcard 3 – Hanging Postbox
Based on a hanging postbox I saw on vacation to a hill station. This was the first postbox illustration created in this mini-series.
